Our local Community Alert group will hold their next meeting on Wednesday, April 1, at 8pm in Ballyduff Community Centre.
There will be an interesting presentation from Martin Halley of ALONE.
Following several burglaries in surrounding areas, local Gardaí will give an update on recent happenings and offer advice on how to keep our homes and businesses safe.
It is very important to support this local group and work together to combat crime.
On Easter Sunday morning, after 10 am Mass, an Easter commemoration will take place at our beautiful commemoration monument outside the church.
Hosted by Waterford Fianna Fáil Chomhairle Dáil Ceantair, the ceremony will include the reading of the Proclamation, the laying of a wreath, the raising of the Tricolour, and talented piper Tommy Kiely will play our National Anthem.
Refreshments will be served afterwards in the community centre.
This is always a lovely occasion with a great sense of community and tradition. All are welcome to attend.

The St Nicholas Church Renovation Committee has launched Phase 2 of their renovation project.
The committee deserves great credit for their work so far, with special mention to Maurice Doyle, who has given many hours of labour and materials voluntarily.
The next phase includes painting inside and outside, washing all areas, repairing plasterwork, hiring height equipment, and of course purchasing paint and labour.
The need for funds remains great, and the committee wishes to express sincere thanks to all who have donated so far.
They kindly ask anyone who may wish to donate to please do so.
Donations can be made by bank transfer, given to a committee member, or placed in the weekly offertory basket in an envelope marked Church Renovation Fund.
A huge thank you goes to local artist Lupita De Bháil, who has donated a beautiful painting for auction, with all proceeds going directly to the Church Renovation Fund.

Congratulations to local woman Kate Foley, who has been signed by Bohemian FC as their new goalkeeper.
Kate’s great talent and work ethic make her a fantastic addition to any team.
She has gained valuable experience with both Wexford and Treaty clubs and was always a shining light with her native Ballyduff FC.
She will be a true asset to Bohemians, and we look forward to watching her progress this season.
