Beautorium Training Academy provides all-around training for prospective beauticians
Joanne Quinn, a beauty educator with eighteen years of experience in the beauty industry, founded Beautorium Training Academy as the lead educator in 2017.
Originally providing brand training for various beauty companies and businesses, it has since evolved into a comprehensive school offering a variety of courses covering all aspects of the beauty industry, providing internationally recognised qualifications for graduates.
Beautorium Training Academy takes a personalised approach to applications and education/training, working directly with prospective students through phone consultations, messaging, or in–person visits to the academy to discuss career paths and help students navigate the vast and often overwhelming beauty industry and choose the right training journey based on their goals.
The academy operates through mainly group classes, and also offers one–on–one mentoring sessions for people interested in entering the industry or those who may have left the industry for a number of years and are planning on returning.
The academy provides comprehensive training across a wide range of disciplines across the beauty industry, including beauty therapy, fashion, theatre and media makeup, massage, reflexology, brows, lashes, skincare, and advanced aesthetic treatments.
The beauty therapy course operates as a great starting point for those just getting into the industry for the first time, covering makeup, nails, skincare, waxing, and other core services.
The hugely popular course in advanced skincare provides training in chemical peels, microneedling, laser hair removal, IPL skin rejuvenation, and dermaplaning.
The Fashion, Theatre, and Media Makeup course provides training in the more creative and artistic areas of the industry collaborating with top makeup artists in the country and connecting with various productions and photography projects, providing a hands–on experience for students as well as the essential theory education.
Course lengths vary across the board depending on experience and area in the beauty industry.

Beginner courses in beauty, massage, reflexology, and advanced skincare span over a couple of months, while areas such as brows, lashes, or nails operate through short, one to two day–long workshops for improving skills.
Beautorium Training Academy also works closely with Image Skillnet and other funding bodies to provide subsidized training opportunities.
ITEC courses generally start around September, with next intake for students in late January into February, with occasional intakes in May for Summer courses.
Beautorium Training Academy also operates summer camps and Halloween camps, offering a taste of the beauty industry for young people aged 13 to 16 years.
Beautorium Training Academy is ITEC and AIT accredited, both highly sought after, regulated & insurable qualifications in the industry.
All Beautorium educators are experienced trainers and active industry professionals, ensuring students receive current, practical instruction that reflects the latest trends, techniques, and industry standards.
The combination of esteemed accreditation, real–world and up–to–date expertise, and personalized support has established Beautorium Training Academy as a trusted and diverse training provider for aspiring and established beauty professionals alike.
