Campsites - Old and New
Electric Picnic's original legendary campsites in Jimi Hendrix, Samuel Beckett, Andy Warhol, Ériu, and Janis Joplin will be there this year as well as new, ticketed campsites.
Facilities in the festival’s campsites, including the accessible campsite, will be brought up a notch with more showers, toilets and Get Ready With Me (GRWM) stations which will include mirrors, straighteners, and hairdryers.
The new campsites, which needed to be pre-booked at no extra cost, include the Glitterball Campsite added to the reformatted Poets Camp and the existing Eco and An Láthair Ghaeltachta.
Reservations for the pre-booked campsites are one booking per person – not per tent, so everyone staying there will need to have their own booking.
All of the campsites that require pre-booking are now sold out.
Jimi Hendrix, Samuel Beckett, Andy Warhol, Ériu, and Janis Joplin require no reservation.
Early entry
Some festival goers can arrive at Electric Picnic the day before the main event if they purchased early entry passes.
The passes, which were sold via Ticketmaster for €40, are sold out.
Early entry passes are only valid with a weekend ticket. They allow access into the campsite from 2pm Thursday, for those wishing to set up camp early.
You will not be admitted entry to the general campsites on Thursday if you do not have an early entry pass and weekend camping ticket.
How do I get there?
