NHL Division 1A: Waterford v Tipperary: Scores by Score

First Half
2 mins – Foul on Dan McCormack, Jason Forde points the free.
4 mins – Gleeson fouled on run and Patrick Curran levels from the free.
8 -12 mins – Michael Breen points for Tipp but Kevin Moran, Stephen Bennett and Austin Gleeson are off target before Jason Forde puts his side two clear from play.
14 mins – Noel McGrath sends over a great point from a sideline cut.
15-17 mins – Gleeson is fouled bearing down on goal and Curran points the free. D. J. Foran gets possession from the puck out and returns the ball over the bar. Peter Hogan replaces the injured Stephen Roche. Patrick Curran levels the tie from the free after he is fouled in possession.
18-20 mins – Stephen Bennett is denied by Paul Maher. Curran makes a great catch from Moran’s delivery but shoots wide in front of the posts. Michael Breen and Stephen Bennett both hit bad wides.
21 mins – Stephen Bennett sets up Mikey Kearney for a fine point.
25 mins – After Padraic Maher is wide from a ‘65’ Peter Hogan, Noel McGrath and Brendan Maher are all off target before Mikey Kearney edges Waterford two points clear.
27-29 mins – Jason Forde hits back to level matters from two frees.
30 -32 mins – Curran sets up Kearney for his third point and Ian Kenny gets forward to score his first intercounty point before Austin Gleeson makes it a three point game with a great point from outfield.
33 mins- Jason Forde points another free and Stephen Bennett is narrowly wide on winning the ball from the puck out.
34-37 mins – Peter Hogan’s pass sets up Brian O’Halloran for a point but late points from play by Sean Curran and Forde cut Waterford’s lead to just one point at 0-10 to 0-9 going into the second half.

Second Half
36 mins- Tipp break from the throw in and Paudie Feehan is through on goal only to be denied by a superb Stephen O’Keeffe at the expense of a ’65 which Forde converts to level the tie.
39 mins – Ronan Maher picks out John McGrath and he puts the home side into the lead.
41 mins – A great chance of a goal for Waterford but Paul Maher makes a superb save from Bennett. Noel McGrath makes a great catch from the puck out and sends over.
44 mins – Jason Forde puts his side three points clear.
48 mins. In one of the best moves of the game Waterford work the ball forward from midfield before Patrick Curran puts Mark O’Brien clear to beat Paul Maher with a perfect strike to the far corner of the net and the teams are level.
50 mins – Michael Breen is brought down by Ian Kenny in the square and Forde beats O’Keeffe from the penalty as Shane McNulty replaces the injured Austin Gleeson in the Waterford defence.
51 – 54 mins – Tipp push on with points from Sean Curran and Brendan Maher as Stephen O’Keeffe makes a brilliant save from Forde. Jamie Barron replaces Michael O’Brien.
55 -63 mins – Tipperary are now in control as Ronan Maher increases the lead with two further points while Waterford bring on Pauric Mahony and Michael Walsh.
64-73 mins – Ronan Maher and Jason Forde(F) add further points before Jamie Barron scores Waterford’s only point of the second half in added time. The last score of the game falls to man of the match Ronan Maher.
