TWO men, who appeared before Dungarvan District Court this morning, have been charged in relation to burglaries of six GAA clubs, a soccer club, and commercial and private premises.

The two men, one in his 20s and the other in his 30s, were arrested in Waterford and Wexford, following a number of searches. Property from some of the burglaries was recovered as a result of the Garda operation.

The men were charged in relation to burglaries at Fenor, Dunhill, Bunmahon, Kilrossanty, Cappoquin and Shamrock Knockanore GAA Clubs, Portlaw United FC, a private residence and three commercial premises.

Both were released on bail on strict conditions and are due back before the Court on March 14.
