Waterford FC have announced their Season Ticket packages ahead of the 2018 SSE Airtricity Premier Division at a launch that took place at the Woodlands Hotel on Monday afternoon last with the club currently preparing for a return to the top flight of Irish football after spending ten years in the First Division.
The club have confirmed a special 10% discount offer on all season tickets purchased prior to December 1 as well as some great family offers. Supporters will also be able to avail of a new reserved season ticket in the Old Stand that will include your own personalised seat as well as free admission into all underage games.
With the Blues set to host the likes of champions Cork City, Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers and Derry City in 2018, it’s widely expected that match day attendances will increase so the club are hoping that supporters will avail of a special early bird offer.
The standard Adult Season Ticket in 2018 will cost €210 and a standard Child Season Ticket will cost €75 each but with this offer until December 1, adults can acquire their tickets for just €189 and a reduced for children will cost only €67.50 while there are also discounts for Students and Senior Citizens.
While season tickets will go on sale at the RSC in the next week or so, a full range of Season Tickets are available for purchase via the Waterford FC website at www.waterfordfc.ie/tickets/ where already early sales are good since yesterday’s launch.

Speaking at the launch, Waterford FC Director of Football Pat Fenlon said, “2018 will be an exciting time for Blues’ supporters and we believe our new ticketing structure and prices will be competitive and appealing to fans young and old.
“We held discussions with the Supporters Club as well and we’ve tried to be fair in the pricing whilst also trying to accommodate all fans. The reaction has been quite good so far and we’re happy enough with the pricing especially that we are giving the chance for fans to purchase tickets for €189 in an early bird offer.
“We are aware that money is tight for everybody and we have taken that into account with the early bird offer which is very good value when you consider that we have 18 home games in the league so it’s a good opportunity to get in early and save yourself some money.
“It’s a different ball game in the Premier division and we need to be able to compete in it. It’s a tough league and we need the revenue to improve that to be able to compete at all levels. We need to improve things around the stadium as well so we need to bring in as much money as we can.
“Obviously Lee (Power) is involved in the background but we have to try to make sure that we can run the club itself and that we are able to run it properly not just for now but for the future going forward. We will be changing some of the structure in the club that we’ll announce over the next few days.”

“Things are looking good at the moment. We have been hard at it since the season ended and we have a lot of people working hard behind the scenes. Just because the season is over doesn’t mean that the football club closes down. We will have a new jersey launch as well and obviously we’re trying to build a squad.
“We finished the 2017 First Division season with the seventh highest average attendance in the country despite the fact that we had little or no away support in the RSC for our games. That will change in 2018 as visiting fan numbers increase, so we urge supporters to purchase their Season Tickets as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
“The fans were fantastic this year and it was particularly special to see the number of new, young supporters attending and enjoying their evenings out at the RSC. With the various family packages that the club is introducing, we hope to see those faces in the stands again in 2018.”
