Fantastic news from Florida last night (Monday) as Waterford’s Seamus Power regained his PGA Tour Card for the 2017/18 season.

The Web.com Tour Championship was rain delayed to a Monday finish and the Touraneena man battled back from three early bogeys to finish with a level par 72 which saw him take the 25th and final card. He birdied the 18th on Friday to make the cut and had to battle all weekend and onto Monday before a tie for 48th was enough to see him regain the PGA Tour card that he so narrowly lost out on a couple of weeks ago after finishing just four places outside the top 125 on last year’s PGA Tour.

There’s no rest for the West Waterford GC man as he begins his second season as a PGA Tour professional this Thursday at the Safeway Open in California….a massive congratulations Seamus….and best of luck for the new season.
