SINN Fein’s David Cullinane launched his economic development plan for the county as he handed in his nomination papers this morning.

‘A Vision for Waterford’ outlines 10 key priorities of the general election candidate; including the development of the city’s retail offering, the expansion of the runway at Waterford Airport and developing the South East as a world leader in the production and processing of food.

At the launch Senator Cullinane said “for Waterford to succeed in generating economic growth and creating employment, a sense of shared purpose to create real regional cohesion is a must”, before adding that Government policy must reflect that the region is the “economic engine” of the South East.
