FOLLOWING the announcement that in the region of 1,600 direct and indirect jobs will be created in Waterford and other parts of the South East arising from a major investment by Glanbia Ingredients Ireland Limited at Belview more good news is expected when Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation visits the city this Thursday morning.
Richard Bruton is visiting the ArchLabs Research & Innovation Centre at Carriganore, and is expected to announce a significant global investment.
On Tuesday it was announced that in the order of 400 people would be employed in the construction of the largest dairy dedicated dairy powder facility in Ireland, which will be located near Waterford Port at Belview.
When completed it will provide 78 full-time jobs and hundreds more in spin-off agri related businesses.
