Three people have been rescued after their boat got into difficulty off the Cork coast.

The Baltimore RNLI was launched just before 1am this morning, after the 50 foot vessel ran aground in heavy fog.

Sea conditions at the time were said to be calm.

There was no apparent damage to the ship, and no injuries to those on board.
