WOULD you no longer able to help your son or daughter with their maths homework once they start secondary school? Does the thought of Algebra, Trigonometry, Differentiation and Integration bring you out in cold sweats?

Are you keen to give your child the best possible support with their mathematical education? If you answered yes to the above questions then WIT’s new online programme ‘Maths for Mums and Dads’ may be for you.

This Maths for Mums and Dads programme aims to help parents fill in gaps in their own knowledge of mathematics so that they can better support their child through secondary school. The programme will be delivered mostly online using a mix of online videos, online exercises and specially tailored workbooks. Support is provided both online and through regular tutorial sessions in WIT.

Booking is required for the event. See www.wit.ie/secondarymaths. For those who can’t make the event and are interested in the course please contact Eleanor Reade on (051)302037, [email protected].
