IRELAND really is home to two fascinating lizard species and the Irish Wildlife Trust is calling on wildlife enthusiasts to volunteer as citizen scientists and go lizard spotting to help protect our country’s wildlife. The IWT National Reptile Survey is looking for volunteers to carry out reptile surveys this spring and summer and help shed light on the state of Ireland’s lizards. Would you like to become an IWT citizen scientist, receive reptile surveyor training and carry out reptile surveys in your local area? If so then get in touch with the IWT and register to attend their reptile surveyor training workshops which begin in Fenor at 10.30am this Saturday.
