Sean Power, manager of the Waterford Under-21, winners of the 2016 All Ireland Final, will be the Grand Marshall of this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade. Mayor of Waterford Cllr Adam Wyse said that he was delighted that Sean accepted the honour. “Sean has dedicated his life to sport and has had many great achievements, but most importantly he has worked to improve the lives of our young people. I had the honour of welcoming home our u-21 team as Mayor after their all Ireland success and was proud to see thousands of people come out in the City and the County to show their support and appreciation. I hope the people of Waterford will come out again on St. Patrick’s day to honour a great man who has achieved a lot for this city and will continue to do so into the future.
