Owned by the Killure Rd Syndicate and trained by Willie Finn ‘ Killure’ railed tightly around the final two bends however to grab the lead. Coming with a renewed challenge a wide running ‘Zip’ eventually went down by half a length to a determined ‘Killure’ in 29.35.

Race 4, A3 525: The Only In It For The Craic Syndicate owned and Kevin McLean trained Kilbrien Clodagh 2/1 put her early gears to good use leading for the vast majority of the trip in 29.41. Fending off a third bend challenge by both Metric Kojak and Holy Water ‘Kilbrien’ stuck to the task well to triumph by a length over ‘Metric’.
Race 5, S5/S6 325: The David Kiely owned and Jonathan Rolle trained Nans John the red hot 4/7 favourite made a very pleasing sprint debut racing to a well deserved win in a speedy 17.65. Gliding into a first bend lead over Whiteys Samba and Leaders Snapper ‘Nans’ eased his way clear for an easy four and a half lengths defeat of ‘Whiteys’.
Race 6, A7/A9 525: The Padge Kehoe and Master Gearoid Murphy owned Knockstown Lady 5/2 got off the mark at the second time of asking leading throughout in 29.64. After a good battle with Jug Of Punch ‘Knockstown’ held out by a head.
Race 7, A4 525: Howsyourdaymissus came away in front but heading out onto the back stretch the Mary Flynn owned and Nick Turner trained Coco Magic 5/2 bounded into the lead. ‘Coco’ was never in any subsequent danger breezing in two and a half lengths clear of Howsyourdaymissus in a best ever 29.13.
Race 8, A3 525: When Metric Lilly and Call Him Timmy bumped on more than one occasion the Graham Lynch owned Toker Rio 2/1 took control of matters at the entrance to the back stretch. Seeing the trip out well thereafter ‘Toker’ went on to account for Call Him Timmy by an easy five lengths. Time 29.12.
Race 9, A3 525: Redstar Pilot dictated matters from the outset but gave way at the third bend to Glenbrook View. Owned by Gary Murphy and trained by Eamon Moore a strong running ‘Glenbrook’ 6/4 went on to defeat a staying on Tycoon Prince by two and a half lengths in a decent 28.90.
Race 10, A1 525: Trainer Nick Turner sent out his second winner of the session when the Robert Bennett owned Dipton Chase 4/1 obliged in 29.07. Reality Expects cut an early dash from trap six but nearing the third bend Tagalong Hawkeye went to the front on the fence from Dipton Chase. In a stirring finish ‘Dipton’ finished the stronger to deny ‘Tagalong’ by half a length.
