MEP candidate for Ireland South, Kieran Hartley, has this evening made an official complaint to An Garda Siochana about the potentially unlawful manner in which a critical change in University Hospital Waterford’s (UHW) key risk rating assessment was made. Speaking to the Waterford News & Star, Mr Hartley said “I have lodged a complaint with the Gardaí concerning the unauthorised alteration of the Risk Register of University Hospital Waterford resulting in the downgrading of risk regarding the out-of-hours cardiology services, which could or may have resulted in the death of a patient or patients.”
