The lucky last produced the fastest winner on view with the Michael Conway owned Kingsmeadow Moon 5/2 storming home to triumph in 28.81. Kingsmill Alert took over in the lead on the back stretch from early pace setter Outlier Lively but producing the superior burst of finishing pace ‘Kingsmeadow’ came through to deny ‘Kingsmill’ by a length and a half.
Race 1, A9/A10 525: Diamond Abbey cut an early dash from the outset but nearing the third bend 2/1 shot Annas Lucky Girl struck the front on the outside. Owned by Anthony Bray ‘Annas’ kept on well to defeat ‘Diamond’ by half a length in 29.88.
Race 2, A5 525: The first of two winners on the night for Richard Walsh Senior arrived courtesy of 3/1 shot Bellmore Brandy. Left in the clear after first bend trouble ‘Bellmore’ dug deep to deny a running on Mooncoin Storm by a neck with a fast finishing Dainty Toby just behind in third. Time 30.16.
Race 3, A7 525: Mo Curiousgeorge 3/1 came from last to first to get off the mark in 30.22. After early trouble Seanocuig Beo did well to lead off the second bend from Go On Vinnie. It was all change up front in the closing stages however as Mo Curiousgeorge came through to hit the winning line a short head in front of a fast finishing Rathbally Chin.
Race 4, A4 525: The Richard Dunne owned Chancy Chappie 6/4 to 4/6 was the best backed runner here and duly delivered in trap to line fashion in 29.36. At the head off affairs throughout from Debs Chancer ‘Chancy’ kept on well to oblige by three lengths.
Race 5, A6 525: After a number of promising placed efforts the Damien O Regan owned Glenbervie Anne 6/4 got off the mark with plenty to spare in 29.26. Taking over in the lead between the final two bends from Clongeen Nitro ‘Glenbervie’ skipped clear up the home stretch to triumph by five lengths from the always prominent Youcancatchme.
Race 6, S2/S3 325: After leading in a two bend dash Skyview Flash appeared home and hosed. The Jonathan Rolle owned Nans Special 4/5 had other ideas however and finished with a flourish up the inside to eventually short head ‘Skyview’ in 17.96.
Race 7, A3 525: County Wexford owner Richard Walsh Senior recorded his second win of the session with God Save Ya 4/1 doing the business in 29.39. Doing ever so well to stay on his feet after a first bend bump ‘God’ made the long break for home ahead of Bing Impact. This order of running never altered with ‘God’ prevailing by two and a half lengths.
