A LOTTO ticket worth half a million euro following Wednesday night’s Lotto +1 draw was sold in Rellis’ Newsagents in Ballybricken earlier this week.

The sole winner has not claimed the prize with the National Lottery yet after the winning numbers 1, 7, 9, 17, 29, 31 were drawn alongside the bonus ball 42.

The €500,000 sum is the second largest Lotto winning total won through Rellis’; the shop sold a ticket worth £850,000 Irish pounds (€1,080,000) around 15 years ago.

The win is Waterford’s second significant Lotto success in recent months; with a twelve-person syndicate from Bausch & Lomb collecting a €2.5m windfall in March of this year.
