DE La Salle College is co-operating with Gardaí after uniforms and books were set alight and broken glass and empty beer cans were strewn across the People’s Park following a graduation ceremony at the school last night.

In a statement released earlier today by Frank O’Callaghan, Acting Principal, De La Salle College apologised unreservedly to the people of Waterford for the behaviour of some of their students last night. It said, “Their behaviour in the People’s Park brought nothing but shame on themselves and on the College.”
