Waterford Team

It’s a very busy weekend for Deise teams with the Waterford senior footballers opening their Munster SFC campaign against Clare in Ennis on Saturday night (7pm throw-in) and then the county’s senior hurlers taking on Cork in Thurles on Sunday in their Munster SHC Quarter-final replay (throw-in 3.30pm).

The senior hurling selectors have made two changes in personnel to the team that started the drawn game with Cork. In defence Shane Fives, who came on as a substitute in the drawn game, replaces Barry Coughlan, while Shane O’Sullivan of Ballygunner, who missed the first game due to suspension will line out at midfield.
