TWO cartons of soup and a George Foreman grill were stolen in separate burglaries of houses in Templars Hall.

The first of the two burglaries in the estate, which comprises of a mixture of student and residential accommodation, took place at Briot Avenue, Templers Hall between 1.30am and 7.15am on Tuesday morning.

The Injured party reported entry was gained to the house through the front door. A Philips 21″ old style television was taken from sitting room and two cartons of soup were taken from fridge.

Meanwhile, a second burglary took place the same night at Holly Crescent, Templers Hall at approximately 2am.

A homeowner heard footsteps downstairs and then the front door slammed. When the house was checked it was found that a George Foreman Grill had been taken.
