TO celebrate a fantastic year for Waterford bands The Forum has decided to host the inaugural “Blaa Fest” on Sunday, December 23, the last big night out before the Christmas break.

The event will be co-headlined by Solar Taxi and Propeller Palms, who have both enjoyed a major break-though year on the Irish circuit, playing in gigs all over the country at festivals and venues.

Torann and Kodakid complete the line-up of true blue bands for Blaa Fest, the former are celebrating 10 years of drumming their “weapons of mass percussion” in 2012, while the latter are the new kids on the Deise block who have come to national attention over the last 12 months due to the quality of their early singles like “Shake Skin” and “Portis”.

Support and enjoy the diversity and quality of a buzzing Waterford music scene at Blaa Fest. Doors on the night are 10pm with admission €10, pay at the door
