GARDAI in Waterford are asking members of the public for their assistance as they investigate a burglary and the unauthorised taking of a car.

On Thursday last the front door of a property at Meadowbank was kicked in between 4.30 and 6.30pm. An X-box was stolen from a child’s bedroom.

On Tuesday last, a Blue Opel Astra, registration 99 C 21256 was taken from Andrew Street in the city. It’s believed the car was stolen around 4.30am.
